Tired of the gridlock traffic on Wynnum Road driving into Brisbane City, Tim and Santina Di Carlo set out to build their new salon beneath the trees of Riding Road in the beautiful suburb of Balmoral. There, they would create a new standard in hairdressing experience. They named it Juicy Golden.
Between Santina and Tim there are over 35 years experience in the industry. Our passion is not only cutting and colouring hair but also service and hospitality. We believe in creating haircuts with functionality, simplicity, and that improve on the classic modern styles, and doing so in a salon where clients can feel comfortable and completely relaxed.
Juicy Golden is about a complete hairdressing experience, with a very strong focus on atmosphere. Once you enter and have been greeted by one of our friendly staff, you will instantly feel at home. Our fun and humble culture is a fresh take on a very ego driven industry.

Santina has over 27 years experience in the hairdressing industry. Along side being a hairdresser, Santina has managed salons for over 20 years, mentored staff and shared her knowledge and experience. Santina is a Master colourist and stylist and enjoys using her knowledge to create exactly what her clients are envisioning.
Advanced Stylist
Rose’s hairdressing experience over the past 11 years includes cutting, colouring, styling backstage at fashion week and awarded finals at Australian hair competitions.
Rose is a very thorough and creative person. Her own hair and style is like a chameleon so if you’re wanting a change; small or dramatic, she’s your girl!
Salon Owner
Tim is a highly professional stylist with 16 years of hair cutting experience. He is passionate about taking responsibility for your look and style. He has a vast inventory of techniques, giving him the edge he needs to service your hair’s individual needs. As the owner, Tim looks after all aspects of Juicy Golden, but cutting hair is still where he derives his greatest.

Hi! I’m Mélodie, Senior Stylist and Salon Coordinator of Juicy Golden. I have the privilege of working with this team for over a decade now, which makes them my second family. I love all aspects of hair from cutting to colouring, not forgetting styling. I’m also fluent in 3 languages, French, Vietnamese and of course English.
